Subscription Payments by Monthly Standing Order

You may not relish the thought of finding twice a year the full cost of a volume in a single payment. We therefore offer a subscription scheme in which, in return for regular payments by standing order or debit/credit card via Paypal which maintain a positive balance in your account, you will receive a discount of 25% on the full retail price of each volume you buy, plus postage. As a monthly subscriber:

• you are under no obligation to buy each new volume as it is published - you can wait to receive our press release containing full details of the volume before deciding whether or not to purchase;
• should you wish to buy, you can purchase as many copies of a volume as you wish at the same 25% discount on the purchase price;
• you can also buy back copies, including those originally published by Novello, where still available, and volumes in the Collected Correspondence series, at the same 25% discount on the purchase price;
• you can cancel your payments at any time providing your account remains in credit and receive a full refund of all money in your account; or, if your payments run ahead of your purchases, you can ask for a partial repayment of the money in your account to bring the balance in line with your future purchasing expectations.

Single Payment Subscriptions and Pre-Publication Orders

If you prefer not to commit yourself to monthly payments or you do not wish to purchase more than an occasional volume, you can still make sizeable savings on the full purchase price by joining our subscriber mailing list. Shortly before the publication of a new volume, we will send you details of the volume and its anticipated publication date. If you notify us no later than four weeks after the projected publication date (or the date on which we notify you, if later) that you wish to purchase, or if you have advised us that you wish to receive a copy of each volume as it is issued, you will receive a 10% discount on the full retail price. If you have chosen not to pay in advance, you will be invoiced with the volume. As a member of our subscriber mailing list:

Overseas Subscribers

Unless you inform us that you prefer to receive a volume by air mail, volumes will normally be sent to overseas purchasers by surface mail. Because of the high charges levied by banks on foreign currency transactions, we prefer payments in sterling. We can, however, accept payment by debit/credit card through our on-line Paypal facility.

How to Subscribe or Purchase

• If you wish to become a subscriber to the Complete Edition or you intend purchasing volumes on a regular basis, please complete the on-line subscription form; or print out and complete the postal subscription form and send it to the address shown on the form.
• Until recently, customers wishing to purchase individual volumes in the Complete Edition were invited to do so through the Elgar Birthplace on-line shop, but this has now closed to facilitate the National Trust's assumption of responsibility for the Birthplace.
