| To offer volumes of the Collected Correspondence at prices which place them within the financial reach of all who might wish to purchase them, we are dependent on sponsorship to cover a proportion of their production costs. If, whether as an individual or a company, you are willing to contribute towards the production costs of the Edition, we offer a variety of options through which you can do so:
Direct sponsorship of a volume
If you are willing to donate a minimum of £500 towards the publication of a specific volume of the Correspondence edition, you can ask for your name to appear on the reverse title page as a sponsor of that volume. A donation of £4,000 will entitle you to appear as the sole sponsor of the volume, and allow you to choose the form of words through which your generosity will be recorded.
Support for a dedication
Certain volumes will be dedicated to an individual who has a particular association with the music which appears in that volume. For such volumes, we invite donations towards the dedication of the volume. Those donating above a certain amount may, if they wish, have their generosity and support for the dedicatee recorded below the dedication on the reverse title page.
Support for an occasional scheme
From time to time, we may runs schemes with particular aims - for example to provide copies of a specific volume free of charge to an organisation or institution with which we feel it has a particular resonance. General support for the Complete Edition
Any donation, however small, will help towards our dual aims of publishing the full Edition and making it available to as wide a readership as possible. And if you are a British taxpayer, we will ask you to complete a Gift Aid form that will allow us to recover the income tax you will have paid on your donation. All donors will receive a bookplate recording their contribution towards publication of the Edition; and if you donate £500 or more, you will receive a specifically worded bookplate for each volume you subsequently purchase.
